Washing your hands is especially important during and after Coronavirus in order to reduce the spread of infection. So, roll up your sleeves and let’s get to it.

Washing hands

Step 1) Wet your hands!

I mean, one would assume that this goes without saying. Some like to soap up before turning on the tap, but giving them a rinse beforehand can get rid of some easy mess before lathering up!

Also, did you know that you are able to use hot or cold water? Long gone are the days of burning your hands on kettle-like public bathroom tap water.

Wait, before you read on! Make sure to turn off the tap to save some water during the next steps

Step 2) Let’s get soapy

At GDG, we stock a wide range of soaps, perfect for home, work or industrial use. So, pick your favourite scene and get lathered up. Make sure to soap up all over your hands, especially the in-between your fingers, the back of your hands and high-contact areas such as under your nails!

It is recommended that you wash soap yourself up for at least 20 seconds. I’m sure that you have heard the tip to sing happy birthday twice, but make sure to do it in your head.

Step 3) Rinse your hands

This is an easy step, ensure that you wash off all of those soap suds that may be lingering. Leaving soap on without rinsing it can result in dry skin

Step 4) Dry them

Be sure to use a dry towel or a hand dryer
